East Lake Camping — Reviews

Bathrooms were only cleaned once during our 4 day stay. Ran out of toilet paper and paper towel. Reported it, but it wasn't replaced until cleaning. Lake was treated with a chemical during our stay, no staff was able to tell us what was put in the water. The person spraying the chemical was wearing a hazmet suit while he applied it. We checked out the next day and chose not to swim anymore.

Campground is very well maintained. Bathroom and showers were clean. Nice lake and beach. Quiet and friendly.

It was so nice and fun. We were in a spot to the lake and walking distance to the beach. We rented a boat for the full day. We will be back.

We have been camping here for 4 years now and have no plans of stopping. We LOVED the cabin this year (much easier after the 8 hour drive from Buffalo NY) and absolutely plan to book it again asap for next July.

Eastlake camping is the best camp ground we have been to. It’s the perfect balance of everything. The lake is incredible and even when the place is booked up it still doesn’t feel crowded. They work hard to keep the place clean and beautiful. The camp store is great and has all the ice cream, wood, and essentials you forgot to bring with you. This has become the only place that my family of five camps. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

We love East Lake! Friendly atmosphere, lots of things for kids to do. Love floating in the lake. The bathrooms and showers are awesome too!

Nice people and very clean and well maintained park

No wagon rides or kid activities like last year for the holiday. Bathrooms/showers still not finished for remodels. Wouldn’t recommend for families with busy kids or wanting a lot of options. No wifi available either.

Easy check in, kids loved beach, fishing and paddle boat rentals. They also loved the ice cream they purchased at the office/store. Returning again in the fall

I have been going to east lake since I was a child and have seen it through 3 owners. The current ownership is always a let down when we go each year. The only time someone cleaned the bathrooms was on the weekend. Otherwise they didn’t care about the individuals camping during the week. The store only had hours posted on the weekends and whenever we would walk to it, it was closed with the “be back in 10 mins” sign. They also claim to have kid activities set up and a wagon ride but it didn’t occur either of the weekends we were there.

We always have a great time camping with you!!! We will be camping with you in September as well...Can't wait to enjoy another fabulous weekend at East Lake Campground. You guys rock !!!

Wonderful, relaxing family campgrounds in a mellow environment with spacious sites and a very attentive staff

This place is great!

The campground itself was great; however, the office/general store was rarely open. When we arrived to check in, there was a note on the door that said "be back in the morning," but no one was in the office until after 1 pm the following day. Another guest told us that they had arrived on Wednesday (two days before us) and that note had been on the door at that time as well, and they hadn't been able to visit the office/general store in several days.

Very nice staff! Nice clean bathrooms and showers. Great for young children. Sandy clean beach
