This is the second year we have gone to this camp ground. We love it because it’s very dog friendly and great for tubing. There is two beaches. One for pets and the other just for people. We usually get in the Saco at the people beach and float down to the dog beach. It’s a good distance and the kids love it. They have nice bathrooms and a play ground. On the weekend when we were there they had a wonderful band that we enjoyed listening to while we sat around the fire. My only complaints are the driveway to get in was very holey, the dumpsters close at 7pm and the speed limit not being enforced. I am not normally one to complain about people driving a little faster around camp grounds but these people were kicking up dust they were going so fast. It seemed they were all part of a group tent camping on the weekend and they would go in and out multiple times each time flying. The trash I wish was a little later to close as most people eat at 6 and then have to rush their dinner trash up. It would also be nice if they had stuff for the kids on the weekend, like a craft or something. Overall this is a good campground I will definitely be going back to. Also don’t forget to try the bakery at the end of the camp ground driveway to the right. The donuts are amazing. Plus you can walk there.
