Elk Creek Escape — Reviews

The park is in a beautiful secluded area. We interacted with one park employee and he was very nice and informative. The cabins all look very nice and well kept. The RV sites are just ok but worked out fine for us. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful scenery around the area.

Very nice campground well ran and lots to do highly recommend

My stay at the campground was great Campspot double book my locked in site. Russell was awesome gave us a better site then the one I paid for.

No problems to report. It’s an escape in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Plenty of room on Rv lots and cabins too. Full hook ups and wireless internet. Very accommodating staff.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Elk Creek. Russ was a great host and made sure that all of our needs were met.

We used Elk Creek as a base camp while we explored the area. Their main gig is cabins. We had a travel trailer. There are only a few RV sites with next to no “real estate”. They’re not the ones listed on Campspot back in the woods. Those are seasonals. That was fine for our purpose, as we didn’t set anything up outside. Good water and pressure; good electric. Really peaceful and quiet. There’s no cell service for Verizon or AT&T. Their WiFi was decent. Brian, the manager, was really nice and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and would again.

This place has great potential.

Campground is nice owner was very accommodating however there was no mention prior that the pool was drained and website was deceiving when looking for camping near Ricketts Glenn State Park. An hour away!!( not the owners fault)

Accommodating and friendly. Low key, weren't all over me, just let me enjoy my stay. Will book again for next year at Forksville Powwow.

The campground was absolutely beautiful and we came at an amazing time to hot tent camp in the snow. Overall the best experience I have ever had and definitely will be coming back every single winter. The owner Andy was very hospitable and made us feel very comfortable with the whole experience

Beautiful place with great restaurants nearby. Lots of wildlife! The cabin is beautiful and the property has a lot of history! Everything was very clean and beautiful décor! It has everything you need and the owners will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need/want! I highly recommend you give yourself a chance to experience this property!
