This camp ground is impeccable. It’s clean and designed with the utmost in taste and privacy. There are Adirondack chairs to sit in and relax by the water; and other various parts of the grounds. The trash area is clean and very organized. The spots are spread out nicely for privacy and well manicured. The amenities are well kept and very easy to use. There is wood delivery, corn hope you can rent for the day and other wonderful features. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. They lent us their hiking poles for the day so we could hike my rainier. They offered advice on where to go, what to do and where to eat. 5 stars!

The check in was super easy and campground was easy to navigate. I do wish there were signs saying the letter of the sites so we could be sure it was ours(we checked in when it was darker so this may be true but from what we saw there were no markings). Overall very nice.

John and team were so friendly and very accommodating. The property is gorgeous, quiet and well done (bravo!). Being a female, solo traveler, I felt safe and would recommend this to anyone in the area.

Wonderful experience! Quiet and spacious sites are thoughtfully placed under old growth trees. A babbling stream with Adirondack chairs to relax. A patch carved in a field under the sun/stars with more chairs to relax and reconnect.

This very dog-friendly campsite exceeded my expectations. It was obvious the owners take a lot of pride in maintaining the site. We stayed at tent site I and there was a lot of space between us and the next site, although I noticed some of the other sites were fairly close together so if you want privacy, I recommend looking at the map before booking. There were two patches covered with wood chips for the tents that made sleeping a lot more comfortable, and a fire pit with a grate for cooking. There was a water spout and trash/recycling bins nearby. The bathrooms and shower were clean and well-stocked with t.p. and seat liners. There was a wooden bridge next to the campsite area that lead into a large open field with a couple of clusters of trees with Adirondack chairs under them. It was great for walking the dog or relaxing with a cup of coffee. The office/gift shop was charming and had a table dedicated to dogs, and a treat jar. We interacted with one of the owners and he was super friendly and accommodating. We bought some firewood and they delivered it to our campsite. This is now our go-to campsite for a quick getaway from Seattle. I highly recommend it!

What an amazing campground. We were there to visit Mt. Ranier but the campground itself is beautiful. Tom and Brian are incredible hosts and were very helpful with suggestions for a local experience in addition to our visit to the park. The camp store is as nice a retail experience as you'll have in any city and the meadow is perfect for afternoon libations or stargazing at night. Highly, highly recommended.

Elkamp is our families favorite camping spot. Great people, great hikes near by, and awesome place to stay.

Used Elkamp as a base camp for 3 days exploring Rainier, St Helen’s and The GPNF. The grounds are immaculate, lovely meadow with paths and seating and the owners were very welcoming. All in all a 5 star spot even with the early morning highway truck noise (I’m in a tent) and the occasional whiff of the septic vents. If possible, snag a spot by the creek, very nice.

Great facility. It was beautiful and spacious for tents and RVs. The restroom and shower facility was great!. It was clean and nice to have a hot shower after hiking out at Mt. Ranier. The owners were kind and checked on all camping sites for needs. We arrived after hours and the instruction board had our hanging pass and map to our spot. Wish these types of sites were in all states.

The property is well maintained and each site is very private and well situated without being right next to other site like other camping grounds are usually. The owners were very friendly and courteous. When we purchased fire woods, they offered to deliver to our site so we didnt have to carry. We really love this property and for sure, we will be back and so close from home in Federal Way. Loved weekend camp out with our family.

We tent camped here for 4 days and 3 nights with our almost 2 year old. It was a wonderful experience! Clear communication with instructions from the very beginning, and easy check-in took the stress out of a later-than-planned arrival. We loved how clean the sites were and the facilities were amazing compared to some of the other tent camping sites we've done in Washington. (Restrooms with flushing toilets and hot, running water, a shower with hot water, and a sink washing station.) The host (Tom) was very friendly and helpful. It's about 10 minutes away from a family-friendly swimming/recreation area, 5 mins away from a small store, but secluded enough that you feel like you're getting away from the hustle and bustle of town. Would love to stay again! We stayed during some hot weather, so make sure you bring strong mosquito/insect repellant if you're staying during warm weather and hate bugs.

Gorgeous campground with amazing hosts. The creek was amazing, especially on a hot day. There are maintained walking trails beyond the footbridge with comfy chairs placed throughout the property to enjoy the sights and sounds. Clean bathrooms. We will be back next year!

We just found our new favorite campground and can’t wait to come back! Clean, quiet, private spots and close to the lakes so we could swim all day. Elbe Junction was a daily stop for our boys to grab a scoop of ice cream and their coffee was delicious as well! The owners were so kind and welcoming, they’ve created a true oasis.
