We wished to next to our friends’ site, but site 14 is far away from all other RV sites. The map we viewed before booking didn’t depict the cabins accurately. It shares a space with one of the cabins and its parking area. The lady who manages the resort told me the vacant lot next to our friends would have guests arriving on Friday night but no one showed up for the whole weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Elkhorn. We had deer and rabbits come right into camp with us so that was awesome and the view was spectacular. We enjoyed talking to the owner. She was super friendly and helped us with all our questions about the area. She even gave us dining recommendations and she was spot on about that too. We loved the restrooms, laundry room and guest area that was available to us. It was nice and clean. We will definitely go back.

Everything was great. We had 2 spots next to each other. Nice quiet park. Just shady enough. Loved the wildlife. The hostess was very helpful.

Easy to find yet off the beaten path. Quiet, nice mix of sun and shade, easy-to-access sites. Easy walking access to most of the town and to several walking trails. Friendly owners. We’d like to return for a longer stay.

It was very clean and the cabin that we stayed in was fully furnished. The people that own it were very nice and so was the laundry room and bathrooms.

We had a great spot, shaded with a picnic table. When we arrived the host Laura, after signing us in, came out & directed us to our spot. Her spouse offered to help guide us in & park our sis by side. Extremely nice, helpful couple. All week long as different people came & went they went & helped everyone. The best hosts ever!

Campground appears clean, neat and well cared for. If there are year round campers there, there is not excess stuff around their camp area. Bathrooms were updated, appeared well kept although we did not use them. Group fire area with grills and opportunity to visit with other campers. Would be a great setting for reunion style events.
