Fairmont Hills RV Park — Reviews

  • Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!

This was a nice campground for an overnight stay. The site was narrow, but easy to back in. The lady who answered the phone was very nice. The campground was clean. It suited our purpose.

Full hook-up only. No place to walk dogs; no camp store; no office. Basically a glorified parking lot. Reach out your window and shake hands with next door neighbors. Heck there wasn't even a staff!

GPS address was wrong. We went down a country road which narrow. Had to take tow to find correct location. Signage is poor. It is directly across from the Exxon but up the hill. That road is wide but not wide enough for two rvs. At the top of hill it narrows to enter the park. The spots are narrow. Asphalt and gravel. Some spots are more leveled than others. Asphalt is soft. Not many large spots. I would only recommend smaller campers or fifth wheel. No amenities at park besides the hook ups. Thank goodness I drove in front of the rig because a 18 wheeler was coming up the hill as we were going down. I was able tell my husband to stop at the hotel area.

Sites are very small and close together. The electric went off everyday.
