The park itself was as advertised/ as expected. The site was as expected and the one we chose. The call center for the campground was however a bit misleading, we were specifically looking for full hookups and called to verify that the site had sewer/water/and at least 30amp service. The call center confirmed that was the case. I then called about 1.5-2 weeks out from our arrival to double check and the call center again confirmed that the site had active sewer water and electric. I even pointed out that it was still cold outside and many places did not yet have water available and they still confirmed that water wouldn’t be a problem. When we arrived, we were told there was no water at the site and there were no water sites available. The park managers were very apologetic, I explained that we specifically check these things because of our daughter having special needs and told them what the call center said. The park managers were awesome! They stayed late to get us water, showed me how to use the onboard tank (we had never used it because we only go where we can get full hookups ups) and then offered to come back the next day to get us more water!. The managers were fantastic and the only reason we didn’t ask for the reservation to be cancelled and for a refund. We did however end up leaving a day early but were thankful for the help of the park managers and disappointed in the call center especially because we asked so clearly and specifically.
