Finger Lakes Cabins and Campground — Reviews

Campsite was level and very close to bathhouse, which was well maintained. Small park but in good location across the highway ftom Sampson State Park.

Campground is nice and quiet, even with it being nearly full. WiFi is great! Owners are friendly when I called to check in.

Quiet clean sites. Thanks to Campspot, easy to reserve a site. I stayed at this campground 2 years ago. I will visit again should I return to the Finger Lake area.

It was a very nice campground that actually had grass on the campsites which is very rare and comfortable. Also the manager was a fantastic woman very helpful and friendly

Our a/c broke down in our camper and at 6pm Saturday the owner of the campground came down and cleaned one of the vacant cabin. She then upgraded us. Very kind people.

Amazing quiet and very clean campground!

Great cabin stay for a last minute trip. Staff was very friendly and the rate was very reasonable. Close to a lot of amazing destinations.

No complaints at all. Honestly one of my favorite campgrounds I've ever been to. Affordable for college students and tent sites are very cool.

The area was nice, too close to road though, very loud. Site was good size for tenting, no fire ring though. Bathrooms were fine, needs work as everyone says, but everything worked and no issues. Wifi was great.

We arrived to an empty campground. No office, no people nothing. The signages is awful we drove past it only to have to find a place on a very long straight road to turn our rig around. The spots are tight! I paid a $10 lock fee only to find we had our pick of spots because we were literally the only campers there the entire weekend . Told they opened a week early this season and I guess we were the only ones that got the memo. lol It was creepy at night with onsite cottages that were open and empty. The campground manager was super nice and did come to the campground after we set up and the day before we left. I think it would be a better place if there was some sort of security or office or small camp store. This place was literally spots to park your camper with hookups, a bath house and that’s it. All in all we managed to make it a fun time despite the awful weather, ridiculously high winds and vacant campground. Likely wouldn’t go back as we prefer an onsite presence or security of some sort besides just cameras.

The site was delapidated and uncared for. There were no obvious facilities such as restrooms. We decided not to stay but were too late to cancel. Very disappointed.

The thoughtful simplicity of this cabin was exactly what we were looking for. No frills, just the basics plus a private bathroom. The only MINOR note is Wi-Fi signal at the cabin was spotty at best. This is not a negative comment, just a heads up if you're planning on being able to work. Highly recommended, I would probably make this my first choice if I was in the area again.
