The campsite itself was nice however the city Dayville is so small there is only one diner in town and it closes at 7 and the fuel station closes at 6pm. It is still 36 miles from John Day and more than 50 miles to the painted hills which makes traveling for site seeing quite long.

The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. and site was plenty large. There was a problem with flies. Not sure why, but there was a ton of them and it kept us from sitting outside.

The hosts were great, the house was even better than the pictures and the location was beautiful. There was an ATM, gas station, mini mart and cafe within walking distance and the town of Dayville was very friendly and cozy. Will come back again!

Everything we needed and really pleasant park. Of course we would like a bit more bandwidth on the internet, but ….,

The hosts communicated all the information we needed to know before we arrived, which made parking easier. The space allowed was wide and grassy and level. This is a little beauty spot in the middle of the small town of Dayville. I would stay there again if the opportunity comes along.

A very quaint, quiet, & friendly town, the RV Park is beautiful, so very well taken care of. Bathrooms are very clean, owner is very helpful. We had to extend our stay, they were more than accommodating. Would stay again, often.

I enjoy the friendly folks there, and the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The fact that there are no distractions in “town” is a big plus for me! (Great hiking and scenery nearby)

The site was nice and large, level, with a picnic table on a lovely green grass lawn. The hookups worked perfectly. The laundry room has two washers, one regular size, and the other extra large to handle the bulky items we usually can't wash at a campground. The bathrooms were spacious and immaculate. The hosts were friendly and generous (thank you, Lyndee, for the onions!), and they even had a friendly and sociable camp cat who was willing to visit you! The only criticism (and this isn't really a criticism) is that when you enter town, the entrance to the RV park comes up VERY fast, and unless you are really looking carefully, you might miss the sign.
