Flint River RV Park — Reviews

Unfortunately it did rain every day but was still a good time. I had all 5 grandkids and they enjoyed it. Pool was clean the host was awesome. We'll definitely come back.

It was a very rainy day the ground was saturated we didn’t stay .The manager Adam really tried to help us .It is perfect for an overnight we have stayed there before. We went to another campground that the pads were concrete so we could get Level

This was a nice place. Candy greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. Vehicle and train noise wasn’t overbearing but was there.

Perfect for a overnight stay price was fair clean restroom pool was very nice. Candi in the office was very nice and friendly made sure that you felt Welcome to the park ! There is permanent residence but still you felt safe.Roads could be a little better .

This is the first time I’ve wanted to leave a campground before we ever got hooked up! We were attacked by gnats the minute we got out of our truck. Electric in first spot didn’t work. 2nd spot was so unlevel trailer couldn’t level itself. Again gnats constantly in your face. Wanted to leave but it was getting too late so we hooked up in 3rd spot . Didn’t unhook or use slide just wanted to get up the next morning and get out of there! Description online is not correct. Most here are full time. Font fall for it!!

The Mangaer was awesome. Bathrooms clean and overall great experience. Evacuateed for the hurricane found this little gem by internet.Will be back

The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a nice shady spot. There is a lovely park across the street that had a paved walking trail that led to a nice downtown area with a good brewery and restaurants. Although the campers themselves were quiet, the park is situated in the between a highway and a busy road. There is a lot of traffic noise. It seemed there were many permanent residents whose RVs could use a little TLC. This might be a good place to stop over for the night but I would not consider it a camping destination due to location, not all sites had a picnic table, nor a fire ring.

The folks running the camp were very nice. Though they both smoked and drank beer right at the front door of the office. The campground is a bit run down, with falling apart pallets in a campsite, some dilapidated rv’s and so one. Great location.

The managers were fantastic! They were very friendly, very helpful, and they came and checked in on us to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed!

Although this is a nice setting, fairly quiet, beware of couple sites that are wet, deep mud tracks. There are some permanent residents there, one in particular smokes in the shower and puts his butts out in the shower floor. First three days bathrooms were filthy not monitored properly and no toilet paper, had to bring my own. people leaving trash on the sink when just steps away was a trash can. Two showers, one curtain torn, the other had trash bag taped to itself. I think the manager is trying to get a handle on the situation, he’s only been there a few months. Not really a family park setting,looks like there are a few “Good Ole boys” with trailers to get away from their wives. And now for the good points: Manager is friendly and helpful with local advice, pool is maintained well, park is well lit at night. Last few days bathrooms were cleaned, and toilet paper had arrived. If your on a budget, the price is right… I believe if the manager can get a handle on daily maintenance, this could be a nice travelers park. Bainbridge is a really nice area for canoeing, fishing, or just go out and explore… Hopeful to see improvements.
