Great location and nice to be in the woods on a hot afternoon

We've come here numerous times on our annual trek along the panhandle. The campground does not have a pool, but offers beautiful well-spaced sites, many with large live oak trees. So pretty! The laundry & bathrooms are great. There are 2 comfy chairs to use while you wait on your laundry inside, as well as a nice covered porch with a round table & chairs. We like to play a game here while we wait. There are 3 bathrooms, set up just like you're back home. This is our place to go when we want to visit Navarre Beach or John Beasley Beach. Lots of shopping & restaurant choices nearby too!

everything was clean and well thought out very nice park the camp host is efficient and runs the place well lots of birds and squirrels sites are roomy and private highway noise is excessive till late in the night and really no place on site to have fire in evening

Great place!! Close to everything. Very clean campground. Dog park was a plus and upkeep was very nice and super clean! Would recommend to someone and would plan to stay again. Oh! WiFi was also a plus!!

Very clean and quiet. Nice laundry room, really appreciated the kitty jar for change for washer/dryer. Dog park was great, very large.

It was clean, easy access, minor glitch was someone had occupied the spot that we pre requested but the camp host and management promptly got involved to correct the situation. Would definitely stay again.

The RV park was clean and organized. Host was very helpful. We noticed that most people staying there are working locally. Didn't give a camping atmosphere, but more of busy life styles, work and return to their RVs for the night. The only thing that really mattered to us is having internet wi-fi to conduct our personal business. The internet was partially down for our stay (5 days) not fault of the host but if I was running this place I'd have that internet running. I called host and she was apologetic which really isn't her fault. But I felt that someone in authority should of motivated the local cable company (cox cable)

How well maintained the entire park was! The bathrooms & laundry were so clean. The hosts were very friendly and from Wisconsin. We had a great 2-day stay in Ft Walton, thanks for the hospitality. Joyce & John

Had everything I needed with easy access

Nice quiet park with large level sites. I’ll be staying at this park again!

Quiet , large sites, clean.

We have stayed here many times and the Park is always very well-maintained and spotless. We were greeted before we arrived and in person, as we found our reserved spot. All questions were answered. Wireless was good for streaming with minimal buffering.

Pro's: Forest Park RV Park was quiet & clean. Con's: Our site was #17. We paid extra for a nice site, but we truly got jilted. The site was picked for us, so assigned to us. It was in the corner which could have been nice, except for everything else. The dumpster sat so close you could smell it. When aligning the dumpster to the road, it partially sat on what should have been part of our site. Our concrete pad was shorter than other concrete pads on our side of the road, so we had less parking space. Also, most sites had an extra parking pad or two. #17 does not have any extra parking pads, so we had to fit the rv & both vehicles tightly on just that one short pad. It was hard to back in with the light pole being really close at the front of our camp site, the dumpster too close to the other side of our pad, & neighbor's truck at the very edge of his pad. In addition, there was two septic hook-ups for our site, but neither were convenient. One was located about 15 ft across a pretty, but unusable brick patio which was behind our rv. Luckily, we had 2 hoses & proper equipment to make it useable. The other was located in front of our rv. If we would have used that one, we would have to walk over it, every time we went to our vehicles. We did pay for an extra feature called "sensible weather" to get reimbursed for rain 8am-8pm, but yet the contract says there's no refund for bad weather conditions. That makes no sense that you can don't offer a refund, but yet let people pay extra for this feature, but in all fairness, I haven't had this discussion with the campground yet.
