Good location, hot springs were nice , lots are small but priced right

Terrible sewerage odor….NOT the hot springs!

I like to give campsites a rating of 5 stars if I feel safe at the location, and this definitely made us feel safe in our tent. In addition, the campsite had great amenities, especially the hot spring pool. Do note, however, that if you camp towards the back of the site, on the opposite side of the pool, there will be another hot spring with a strong smell of sulfur. Also the wifi doesn't reach all the way out there, but that's not a big problem. Overall, this place was nice, and we'd camp here again.

We loved this spot! A great stop! Great spots, accessible and the hot springs were a treat.

This campground was rundown and as we drove around the small grounds to our assigned site, we could see that the cabins were in serious need of repair with cardboard over broken windows and overflowing with guests and their property. We decided not to stay, requested a refund stating that we felt the grounds were rundown to which the desk person disagreed and refused to refund us. Lesson learned! Not a good stop for weary traveler.

electrical was not on due to work being done but they didnt have it on in the bathroom.

I would rate this campground 3.5 The camp could use some updates. The gravel road has large potholes. The water connection in some sites is 3” from the ground making it tricky to attach a hose. Only some sites (near the office) can get wifi and I had spotty cell service. The ladies bathroom was out of order during my visit so I didn’t use their facilities. The hot springs pools are right on site and fabulous. And it’s Olympic sized. It’s open all day & closes around 9 or 10pm. There’s a ‘doggie trail’ to walk & relieve your dog. They provide bags if you forgot. The female staff member was very helpful and friendly.

The family run staff is amazing. They continue to make improvements to the park every time we go. This is the place to camp at when you stay in thermop!

Love the work being done to upgrade the power, water and appears much more. Been going here for years. Big changes are happening. Pool was amazing!

This was our 2nd weekend this year staying at The Fountain of Youth. We absolutely love it and will be back!

The campground is under renovation and may in much better condition when it is complete. Only about 2/3 of the sites were habitable and only about 1/3 (B loop) had decent gravel drives. That said, the hot springs pool was in good condition. If you can tolerate the smell of the sulfurous water it was a great overnight. The campground is surrounded by a collection of small houses and outbuildings that were in various states of repair.

It's older so the sites are tight, it looks like they are making renovations. However, it's quiet & cozy, the pools are amazing. Owners are very friendly and the other campers were nice. I liked the location on the edge of town but close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. Will be going back in the Spring after the thaw.

Owners were friendly, we changed our reservation date & they were super helpful & flexible. The hot springs was great! That was the draw for us. Bathrooms & showers were very clean. Looks like they are in the middle of some upgrades but it’s a great spot along the highway. The train does go by there so you may hear it at night. We would go back.
