Very friendly staff and easy in easy out

The campground is nice and quiet the parking spots are really accessible

Level camp pads, gracious host, and easy access. Not to mention great rates

As a place to park your RV for a while, Gate City Event Center is...fine. It's very basic, with flat, gravelled pull-through spaces for trailers and RVs large and small, and readily accessible water and electric hookups. There are no showers, bathrooms or other amenities available. There doesn't seem to be any on-site staff, but there is a phone number you can call if you need help. There's a hotel and a coffee bar and a convenience store a mile or two away. It's not much, but as a place to put your RV for a night, it's fine.

Heavy rain left the park a little muddy. But overall, a good value.
