Vacationland Campground — Reviews

The cabin was nice that is about it though . Horrible costumer service/ people in charge . We had issues which we addressed after our stay and the manager replied with some money back which was appreciated BUT along with that came a bunch of LIES. The so called security there made up all these stores of how our kids had to be spoken to multiple times about how they ride their bikes and they didn’t wear helmets and were riding after dark . That is completely false. They spoke to them ONCE about watching for cars and golf carts. That was it. They never once didn’t have a helmet on , before it even got dark we had them put up their bikes. Mind you .. cars were driving over their speed limit , people driving golf carts WHILE DRINKING ALCOHOL. which is illegal . But yet our kids were the problem? Get out of here. We will NEVER go back to this campground and will make sure to tell others not to waste their money .

Load till 11pm. The locals who buy lots ride their golf carts with their music turned up all night long. Not a peaceful place to hang out. They also parked me in a pool through that had no room at all to get in and out. Worst spot ever. Had to have two guys fit me into the spot then I had to figure out how to get out when it was time to leave. It was designed for a 25 footer and I have a 42 but they said it would fit and it did with 30 minutes of back-and-forth. Would not recommend this campsite. Highlight though was the luau for the Guests on Saturday night. Saving grace.

Amazing, friendly staff, plenty of activities for the kids and adults to do! An absolutely beautiful fireworks show for the 4th of July!! Great stay!

The place can use a little updating. Putt putt golf was not operational and my granddaughter was looking forward to that. Weather was too cold for the pool. But there were leaves that needed cleaned out. The staff very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and peaceful.

Just a really nice place to camp with the family!

My husband and I rented a cabin for the weekend. It was clean, very cute and dog friendly. The staff is amazing and friendly. We will definitely go back!

Just a great place to get away for a couple days. Weather unfortunately didn't cooperate but still a good time!

Well first we don’t realize that there would t be any other weekend camper. But that’s ok. But the smell was horrible. Sewage worse and worse each day.

They didn’t have knowledge of my online reservation when we pulled up so we had to wait. Spot was easy to pull in and out of. Campground a bit out of our path but we needed a good nights rest

It was our first time and we loved it. Very clean and safe

We've visited Vacationland for Memorial Day twice now (2023, 2024). The park was a little bit messy in 2023 due to recent construction, but it was much improved in 2024. The only thing that could be better was the leveling of the pull through sites. There were deep ruts in the dirt and gravel which made walking around the rear of the camper challenging. Overall, would still highly recommend it and will be going back there myself in the future.

Pros - very family friendly. Pools, hugh playground. Store and snack shack. Very well run. Staff very friendly. Cons - sites was VERY unlevel and with rain it turned to mud. And the endless golf carts. It is part of the seasonal camping just not my thing.
