God's Country Resort — Reviews

We had site 12 which was a nice pull through next to the pool. The campground is very nice, green grass between sites, nice paved flat spots, there was an awesome large covered playground, there is a nice game room with two pool tables and other games and a TV to watch movies. There is a nice dog washing station, there is also an outdoor basketball court. Very nice, no complaints and you can get a smores kit at the store. The bathrooms and showers are very nice as well.

Very clean and quiet. They had everything you could possibly need.

Nice and quit and clean. Very nice place. Some of the lots are hard to get into but it’s safe and secure. Beautiful area. I enjoyed my stay.

While the WiFi was quite good (a huge plus compared to others), our site did not have sewer hook-up as advertised. We were in site 32. We walked around a bit and it appeared that every other site had sewer but not ours. Also, the confirmation email sent to us had a link in it with an address that said “directions” but was for the east side of the campground, not the west side (across the highway). We ended up on the wrong side and had to call. Luckily, someone answered and confirmed we were on the wrong side but it was minutes before 5pm and she asked us to hurry because the office was closing. She met us with our site info on her way to her car. I can see that this might be a fun family place for kids if you are there for a few days, but for us, so we will not stay there again.

Great campground. The pull through spots were huge, had plenty of parking for camper, trailer and boat. Lots of amenities for kids. Everything was super clean and very nice. Family had a blast, definitely recommend!

Very nice cement spots with covered patios, picnic table, grill and fire pit. Nice pool and playground area for the kids.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. When I checked in my site was occupied with someone who said they'd be several hours before returning to vacate the site. The campground manager directed me to another site and said I could park there temporarily, but offered to let me stay there if I wanted for no extra charge. It was a big upgrade from the site I booked so I agreed. Beautiful site, nice folks, laundry and big lounge with an arcade and pool tables. Nice pool, though I didn't use it. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because of the huge number of flies, and ants that were getting into the trailer. My campground neighbor said he stayed there often and it's always a problem. Still it was a great place to stay and work for the week. West campground deluxe site had a clear view of the sky so Starlink worked great for the week. I didn't try the campground wifi.

The campground was well kept. The pool area was very nice & well kept. It was nice to grill out by the pool & meet some other nice campers in the pool area. The showers & bathrooms in the bathhouse/arcade area were very clean & nice. Our kids really enjoyed the outdoor jumper & large covered playset. The office staff were all friendly, especially Gee. I wish that I would have purchased a “I Love God’s country” sticker from the store for memories! Good stuff in the country store too!!

Nice pull through with cement pads that are over 70 feet allowed us to keep the trailer attached to our class A. There is a high point and the coach could not fully level with the trailer attached. We were only there for one night so it was not a big deal. Park was clean and well maintained.
