Goldfield was once the largest town in Nevada. Soon after finding gold in 1902, the town was established and boomed to 20,000! By 1912, most of the gold had been mucked out and the miners moved on. Today, Goldfield is a burgeoning art community full of independent characters. Its home to the International Car Forest and the Saint Barbara Grotto. Goldfield Miners Camp is located in the center of the historic district. Easy walking distance photo opportunities and local businesses. Please note, there is currently no water or sewer services, but guests may utilize the historic Assay office. Goldfield makes for a UNIQUE stop halfway between Reno and Las Vegas, or those traveling to and from Yosemite, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.
