Greenbrier Campground — Reviews

The Halloween event was great! The campground goes all out with a haunted trail with lighting, fog and live characters! It was very well done (coming from a theater professional). Several of the guests also have displays that are pretty amazing. The campground is always well kept, and the nice bath houses I’ve ever seen. I’m excited to try their newly built campground as well!

This was the best campground I've ever been to. There were so many families there and so many activities for the kids which was amazing. My kids loved the playgrounds and the bounce houses. The Halloween activities were so fun and cute for the kids AND I loved them as an adult too. The space was so clean and beautiful. Everyone working here was so friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better time. The facilities were close by and clean! The only thing that would have made our stay better was being able to stay longer!!

We had a great stay. The campground was clean and very pretty. We stayed in sight 43 and it was really close to the next sight. Not much room between our camper and our neighbor. Would choose another sight if we make the trip again.

The staff inside the office were very friendly and helpful. The campground is very well kelp and beautiful. The bathrooms and showers were very nice and clean. The sites are a good size, plenty of room. We have already made reservations for May 2025.

Fun place and quiet

Very clean and easy to find. Bathrooms were very clean and each shower sink and stool behind individual lockable door.

We couldn't have a campfire because of the overwhelming noise of a some type of revival that amplified through the campground. We couldn't talk to each other without raising our voices to shouting

Picturesque and close to Great Smokies Mountains National park entrances. Amenities are outstanding.

This campground is one of the best we stayed so far and looking forward to go back. Very clean, good customer service and beautiful place!

Sites were great and lots of room but the privacy of the site should be more strictly enforced - people walking through peoples occupied sites as short cuts instead of walking around.

It was really nice & we enjoyed it! Never got to see the Bear,, but maybe next time.

Camp has a lot of great amenities and is close to everything I wanted to do. The only drawback was the space was very narrow. Fortunately I was there in the off season so there were open spaces directly next to me.

The natural swimming area was wonderful, the staff was kind, and the facilities were cleaned often. I would definitely stay again!

Greenbrier Campground is very pretty with the small river running completely around it with a very nice swimming hole. The thing we didn’t like was how noisy it was! If you’re looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature this is not it. The old loud golf carts run nonstop from sun up to sun down. We understand maintenance and up keep need done but most of the time they are just driving back and forth every couple minutes not doing much but riding thru the grounds and then you add the guest golf carts out joy riding it begins to be a bit much. The entire drive is gravel so you hear every vehicle that’s in and out and they start before day light. They also have the city trolley coming thru twice a day plus delivery vehicles in and out plus the camping guests. Just a lot of activity and noise all day long. Couldn’t enjoy my morning coffee along the water without all the noise and I’m a very early riser normally up before 6am, and still couldn’t enjoy the peace and quiet. Aside from that the staff was very friendly and the grounds are very pretty. The hookups were nice with nice clean water that didn’t stink like some campgrounds. The fire pits are nice along with a nice charcoal grill for cooking if you choose to do so. You’re a little close to your neighbors on each side but it’s understandable and all our neighbors were friendly.
