Great place to stay, wonderful host

Overall the campground was lovely, quiet, private. We stayed in site #9 which was large and had the firepit well positioned. The river proximity was great, and my kiddo loved throwing rocks in at every opportunity. The nearby roadways were noticeable during the day but not loud enough to impact sleep. We were fortunate enough to see deer every day. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the sites were loose gravel which made it a bit tough to back the trailer in, but not impossible. It also would have been nice if there was a larger dumpster, but neither of these things are deal breakers and I think we would come back in the future. Oh, last thing, in the ladies washroom (not sure about mens) the stall doors are short and easily looked over, but I never saw another person in the washroom at the same time as me.

Everything is well, clear camp sites. But one thing everyone should know if you’re booking full hookup don’t be assume that it will be, it depends on availability.

The amenities listed were not provided. The site booked was a pull through. The site provided was a back in. Amenities listed included water, electric, and sewer. The ONLY hookup was electric. There was an additional charge to dump in their sump (again which was supposed to be included on the site). The campground itself was very nice. But this campground was NOT as described. We were booked for two nights but stayed only one.

A really quaint locally run campground. On the Red Deer river, short walk to town center. Most sites have lots of trees, 30amp power, a fire pit and picnic table. Beware only a couple of sites have water and sewer and a few sites do not have power.

Such a lovely convenient spot. Loved being on the river and walkable to town and the rodeo grounds. The host Jack was so awesome and accommodating. Very clean site and washroom

Beautiful location, lovely stay, great host. Always a pleasure to stay there.

Bathroom and showers were awesome! Sites were nice, but a little too close together, and very little privacy. Site was power only, no water or sewer; that isn't a big deal for me, but something I need to now in advance. The site description when I booked said water hook-up and sewer hook-up. I would 100% stay again, the people are friendly, and I enjoyed my stay.

Just the facility. Overall good. Bathroom needs attention more often.

I as well as many others were a bit confused by the reference to water and sewer in the description of both the back in and pull through 30 amp sites. Any other campground that specifies water and sewer as part of the site has actual water and sewer at said site. This was not the case with this campground. I thought it was just my confusion until speaking with others who also had the same puzzlement in their faces. Other campgrounds listed with only electricity only show the amp amount in their site descriptions and as an overall mention dump station available. Everything else about the campground was fine.

Campsite was great, great location, nice sites, camphost was friendly and the price was great. Only thing that detracted was the state of the washroom facilities. They weren't cleaned for the entire long weekend and by Sunday it was showing. Other than that it was a great stay.
