Greeter Falls Campground — Reviews

I loved the setup of the campground.The spot I had in the primitive area was perfect.The bathhouse was nice.I liked the fire ring with the moveable grate. Bonus : The awesome Greeter falls trails were a 1/3 mile walk.If back in the area I would definitely stay here again.

We love this campground. It is always a quiet and restful place to visit, and the playground is a favorite place for my granddaughter to play. The addition of on-site food choices and the camp store are huge bonuses. Greeter Falls will always be our "go-to" for camping close to home.

Beautiful campsite close to the trailhead. Everything was clean and we felt safe sleeping in our hammocks.

I would recommend the Campground! We will be back! Friendly staff, easy access, love the spaced out sites, clean bathrooms!

We loved how wooded the sites were. We didn't see other people except in the common areas. It was really pretty

Very nice campground and the management were great. The host even gave my wife a pair of fuzzy socks due to the cold temperatures. Only problem was dogs barking at night, but if you can’t sleep through that, you’re not tired enough…

It’s a rustic campground with friendly staff. Sites are a little tight but everything else was good.

A very nice RV park. You don’t have to have a RV though, all I can say is look them up on the internet. Super out door camping, a little rugged and plenty of space between sites. Will definitely come back if we travel thru the area. I felt very safe and sure was a welcome treat after traveling 3 days!

Wonderful. Loved our smash burgers when we were too exhausted to cook. Quiet and peaceful. We will be back.

Camped in primitive tent site - picnic table was not really usable - a recycled circular cable holder - not sturdy - not really a level spot to set up tent - the bathhouse was clean and had nice hot showers - the facility overall is very nice and welcoming but my particular primitive site was not in keeping with the rest of facility

Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Campsites were closer together than I like and there were thorn bushes all around the edges of the campsites but that was the only issue. Hard to have dogs and kids walking around your campsite due to that.

Fantastic campground with spacious private spaces, clean bathhouse facilities, activities, and a little restaurant grille. Very close to the trailhead to enter Savage Gulf State Park.

My family stayed this past weekend and everything was so great! Clean, well cared for, the nicest staff, great accommodations and amazing trails walking distance. Pet friendly, we loved being able to bring our fur baby! Highly recommend!!
