Beautiful campground. Well maintained. Great location near Bar Harbor ME

Overall service from the staff was great

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, quiet, and offered nice shower and laundry facilities. Loved the Island Explorer shuttle pickup and drop off. We could leave our camper van parked and hooked up all week. The office and outside staff were friendly and very helpful. Be sure to walk to Hadley's Point Beach at sunset -- gorgeous!

We loved our stay. Most sites private and very clean. Plenty of single clean bathrooms, great showers. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Great location. Beach at the end of the road where you can watch the sunset. We will definitely come back.

The sites were a bit too close to each other for our comfort, but the facilities were really nice.

The campground, as well as restrooms were spotless. It’s very well maintained and the staff are super nice. Would’ve given a 5 star rating but for the strong sewer smell in the mornings near the septic field.

Our site in S62 was extremely cramped. The sites were so close together that our picnic table sat about two feet from the neighboring site’s sewer hookup, and there was no usable space to set up chairs or a campfire. The Campspot app didn’t give an accurate sense of how tight the layout would be, which was disappointing. There was also a persistent sewer odor throughout our stay. Quiet hours are enforced very strictly, and I understand why — our fire ring was positioned directly under our neighbor’s bedroom slide, which made any normal evening conversation feel intrusive. The only reason I’m giving this campground a 3 is because the bathhouse was brand new and very clean. The location is convenient for visiting Acadia National Park, but I’d recommend choosing an RV park closer to the water as the views are stunning.

Terrific value and location, right on bus route to everywhere, and everything you need. We would highly recommend visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia.
