Hammond Hill — Reviews

We chose this spot last minute on our drive to the east coast. It did not disappoint! The welcome was friendly, and the grounds were environmentally loved. The park for my 2.5 year old was perfect and there's lost of care within the trails on the property. We would love to come back and experience Hammond Hills tiny home during the Winter months!

Great place !!

No showers on site. There is no place to wash your hands after using the porta potties. There was a very rude woman who was there the entire time. One morning we observed her storming around kicking boxes. We basically treated this place as a place to stay. Spent the majority of our time at families and then would only come back to sleep. I think eventually this would be a wonderful place to stay. But it’s just not there yet.

The yurt was spacious and amazing. Beds were comfy and all facilities were provided.

Tiny home was clean and had everything I needed. The toilet did not flush as the ash tray was out of position and I could not figure out how to fix it. But otherwise this place was great! Comfy bed, warm, and a great time.

It was a great night spent for my girlfriend’s birthday. The tiny homes were so cute and convenient.

We stayed in the yourt. It was lovely. The beds are comfortable and the yourt village pretty. The communal spaces are enjoyable. They are however a feeling that's something is lacking in the space and seems unfinished. No bathroom with running water. Only porta potty. Nowhere to wash dishes as well for campers. It does not seem to be mention on the website. It was bot a great surprise.

Thank you for accommodating us in a beautiful tiny home! The availability of the beers was appreciated.

Not enough ventilation/ air circulation inside the Yurt

The Tiny home is great. The camp site not so much… the two propane tanks for the home were empty when we arrived. We’ve been told that the home was full equipped but there’s no cofee machine, no dish cloth, only two plates, very few ustensils…This could easily be improved. It really looks better on the web site.

There was no shower or drinking water and we were not aware of that. Other then this, the camp site was perfect, it a reaaaally nice spot for camping and we had a really great time. The guy at the entrance is really sweet and helpful! We would definitly recommend it and come back!!

We absolutely loved our stay, we were just a little disappointed on not having toilets or showers close by.

The site is beautiful and has massive potential, however, there are only two toilets for the whole site and no water for dishes or to wash your hands. My son thought the lake looked too dirty/swampy to swim in so we didn’t do that. The yurt was nice and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The nature trail was beautiful and well mapped out.

We loved the place! Will go back for sure! Thank you Nathan for helping us setting up!
