Hattie Sherwood Campground — Reviews

I booked this sight about 3 weeks in advance. The system would not allow me to select weather protection. Of coarse we had rain for 2 of the 4 days and constant high winds on day 3. We actually opted to go home a day early. We love the tent sites and will book again next camping season.

Quiet campground, great views of Green Lake, clean restrooms, easy reservations

Campground and facilities were clean and well maintained. Host was apologetic and mindful of campers when needing to do any maintenance that might disturb their experience.

A nice campground. The restrooms and the showers are very clean. Even the portapotty down by the boat ramp is clean and taken care of. If you check in online, you don't really see anyone but if you need anyone, they will answer their phone or call you back immediately if they miss your call. Cost per night was reasonable.

Lovely setting and helpful staff.

The camp ground is uphill on a rise, you can see the lake and are very close to the water although not actually water side. There is a nice breeze that blows through from Green Lake. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. It is a small campground but very adequate.

Bathrooms could be cleaner

The cutest, cleanest campground in a beautiful location!!! This campground overlooks the lake- it’s on a bit of a ridge. The town is super quiet and you can walk there to get breakfast or dinner. The beach/ dock right across the street is super nice as well. The bathrooms stay clean and we saw city workers there frequently. Note there is no attendant on duty, so if you’re looking for a more KOA type experience, this is not the campground. That said, we absolutely LOVED this little campground and hope to make it back!!

Campsite was comfortable, boat dock was right by my site, $7 to lunch. Firewood was $5 a bundle or 5 bundles for $20. Only bad part was you could here music and party from marina 1/4 mile away.

The camp spots are wide open to be expected, however the view of the lake is spectacular, the campsite is quiet and the bathrooms were clean. Electric was reliable and the camp spot was clean and ready

Convenient site however we had to get two sites next to eachother to have enough room with our 28ft camper. Loved the access to the water area however the dump station is definitely not in the best area. Very tight squeeze. Playground needs some work
