Hawthorne park is peaceful during the week it fills up on Friday for the weekend but it’s still relaxing - no wifi but att came in great Very secure as park staff have 24/7 patrols Heavily treed sites so starlink is not an option Park staff very active with ensuring cleanliness especially in the bathrooms

We were visiting our granddaughter at Rose-Hulman and this park was a perfect spot. We had water and electric. Our site was large and close to the bath house which was clean. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was convenient.,staff was friendly and any problem they were on it.

Love this place! Spacious camp sites, great walking paths, bathrooms/bathhouse are always clean. The staff and campground hosts are welcoming. The lake is lovely and the option to fish is great too. Will be back!

We enjoyed kayaking on the pond and got to watch the air show as a bonus !

Roads were very narrow with some trees leaning in towards the road. Kind staff and great location for the airshow visit.

The park looked like it would be very nice for an extended stay but we only did a quick layover. Unfortunate that a huge rain storm hit before our arrival. Lots of water and mud in the park.

The people who run the park are very nice and polite and respectful and give you plenty of time to pay for the camp site and keep the park very clean.

Park was clean, very quiet. Water was easily accessible, dump sites were easy to access.
