It’s not a very nice campground. Right on the 101 and not very attractive

The campground is ok. Plenty of room to park is the best part, and proximity to the most southern parts of the Redwood Parks is nice. However, there was constant traffic on the highway going by, day and night, and you can hear it all. Plus no cell service, which isn't handy. Wifi works fine, though. And the camp host was nice when we spoke on the phone.

This campground is pretty basic but just off the highway and close to the Redwoods.

The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because there was a fair amount of road noise. The elk roaming through the area were amazing. The site was fairly level and not too close to the neighbors.

Location is great, short drives to a lot of sightseeing, and plenty of elk visited the grounds. Parking spots were spacious. My only real complaints: very close to highway, so you constantly the traffic, sometimes hard to hold a conversation, and the WiFi is terribly slow and drops out. Had to make a 911 call for a car accident, no cell signal, and WiFi calling was so bad 911 couldn’t hear me, and the call dropped twice.

An ok campsite. No toilets or facilities so make sure you are prepared. Not much around the campsite as it is on a main road - which you’d have to cross in order to walk or hike in the redwoods. Nice spotting of elk was a positive.

Campsite was nice. The herd of 35+ elk in the yard in the morning was a plus. Only reason I didn’t give five stars was the highway noise. Camp ground is right next to Highway 101.

Advertised as remote but is just a few feet off the 101 but we loved it. It is a small park with ample room. It was remarkably quiet for how close it is to road. Will stay here again and highly recommend to others.

No one to communicate issues to. Right on highway. Loud! Very basic setup.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. It was easy to check in and the campground is very centrally located to experience all of the Redwood National Park activities. The park I’d very quiet and the elk that visited were very interesting.

It's a cute park right in the middle of all the trails, visitors centers, redwoods and coastal adventures. It is a no frills campground but it has full hook up. The best and most amazing part are all the elk that come up from the river attached. Just remember they are wild animals and treat according. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved the setting! We had elk in the yard each morning. Very close to the Prairie Creek visitor center. This location does not have restrooms or showers, but that was clearly made known before we paid. Great spot to overnight.

The campground is simple but surrounded by natural beauty. Literally Elk in the campground when we pulled in. It was clean but out camper could reach the sewer hook up. I should’ve brought extra hoses. Easy to back into spaces. Would stay again.
