Our one-night stay at Hidden Lake Retreat turned out to be one of the best short trips we’ve had. What truly made it special was the scenic beauty of the lake combined with the peace and tranquility of the entire area—it’s the perfect reset from a busy routine. From the moment we arrived, there was an immediate “wow” factor. The place felt cozy, aesthetic, and full of positive, feel-good vibes. The cabin itself was very clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities in place. The décor and overall setup created a warm, peaceful, and private atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The location is outstanding—beautiful lake views, a walking trail around the lake, a small swim area, and even a games station. We especially enjoyed walking along the lake, relaxing in the hammock, and just soaking in the calm surroundings. It’s a perfect blend of nature and thoughtful amenities. A special shoutout to the hospitality—Jonny and the team were extremely pleasant and helpful. One moment that really stood out was when there was a mix-up with our cot booking. Even though we had only paid for one, Jonny kindly arranged an additional cot at no extra cost. That level of customer care made a big difference. From a family perspective, this place is excellent. Our kids absolutely loved it—the open space, games area, and overall peaceful environment made it both fun and safe for them. The highlight of our trip was the early morning view of the lake covered in mist and fog. It was breathtaking and honestly something we had never experienced before—a truly unforgettable moment. We would highly recommend Hidden Lake Retreat for families with young kids, as well as anyone who loves nature and a peaceful getaway. We’re already planning to return multiple times this year—that says it all.

Very nice and new but small campground. Beautiful large property to explore with nature trails; and I recommend getting on the lake with kayaking. The beach and swimming area is a fabulous addition to enjoy the water. Owners were quick to reply to any questions I had by text.
