It was quiet, met all of our camping needs, and had clean bathrooms and showers. It’s location was perfect access to all the area attractions.

The campground was quiet, bath houses were very clean, and the Nancy (the camp host) was so friendly and very responsive to any questions we had. We had our daughter’s dog that has some separation anxiety and was very understanding until we came up with a solution for him. We will definitely be back to visit if we can!

Good location if you can’t get into Beaver Bend. Camp host was great. Good water pressure. Sites are very close and are challenging to get in and out. If you want to fish the host is an exceptional guide for rainbow and brown trout.

Nancy was a great host. She was there to greet us and she was very friendly. Made sure we had everything we needed and to let her know if she could help in anyway. She even came over when we were getting ready to leave. We will definitely be back.

This review is from my personal likeness and my personal experience. The location is nice as it is right off the highway. .. literally, in between two liquor stores and next to a go-cart park. The “park” is very small and is not at what I expect when camping. The sites are very small. There is no room for parking. We have a 32’ camper and it took the entire concrete slab. Our view was the back of the liquor store and their storage. This park allows for “long stay”, and it appeared that majority were utilizing this… it was basically a trailer park. We are the type to make the best of it, so we powered through. We were there for four nights. We did discover that the state park does actually have full hookups, and we looked into moving, but they were all filled up. We were unable to utilize our outdoor kitchen, set up anything outside due to the grass being knee deep. Like above the seats of the picnic table. I did text the host about this and she said they would be there that day to mow, but they did not. Nor did they come the next two days of our stay. Good: right off highway, has full hookups, price is nice Bad: no nature views, no camping feel, not well kept, not many other short term campers.

Nancy (camphostess) was super sweet & full of information. The campgrounds were nice & kept neatly. It was very quiet & peaceful. Just what we needed for spring break. We were close enough to many activities, yet far enough away to relax.

Park was well located, right near the entrance to Beaver’s Bend State Park. My site was nice, with full hookups, fire ring and picnic table. I could not get on the WiFi but I wasn’t that disappointed about it.

No restrooms or showers. Never met an employee. Looks shabby. Could use some cleanup work
