Hoffman Lake Campground — Reviews

Great resort and really clean

Campsites are too close together, if we would’ve been not camping with other family to where we could use one of their fire pits we would not been able to have a fire and it was cold. Our fire pit was right outside our camper door. The one next to us was right next to our camper. If there would’ve been people sitting there, it would not have been enjoyable . But overall overall, Campground was nice.

Well maintained!

I love that everything was clean and neat and there were plenty of fun things for the kids to do!

Great spot…well kept, great people!

Bath and shower poorly ventilated and smelled strongly of human excrement. Very poor signage for sites with no escort. Jammed packed with sites too close together. Poor access to lake with seasonal camps taking up all the lake frontage.

Beautiful park. Super crowded on the weekend but still a very peaceful stay.

Very nicely kept. Staff and other campers were friendly. Great place for families with children or grandchildren to camp at. For my husband and I, who are usually by ourselves it was a little busier than we like, just a preference.

The place is in the middle of nowhere, but very packed with people. Campspots are very tight. Some rules like late check in fee is outrageous. Otherwise it's a nice campground with amenities, even pizza delivery. Showers and toilets were not that clean.

Clean, neat camp grounds. Easy access from highway. Camp personnel I dealt with were friendly, helpful and polite. All the best

Nice campground. Pull through site with 50 amp full service. The lake had plenty of bluegill in it, and had some carp that was wrestling around with each other, which was very cool to watch. The campground has a nice play area for the kiddos and a swimming pool if the weather is permitting. We enjoyed our stay at Hoffman Lake campground.

We just love how it’s so easy to keep an eye on the grandkids and that the bathroom are always so clean. It’s a great place to camp!

Great Campground! The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. You cannot go wrong with booking a campout here!

Beautiful location. Had a place direct to the water. Don’t forget the mosquito repellent!

Always a great stay. Quiet, respectful and friendly people all around.

Park was clean, but spaces were small and cramped. We were put next to two spots with approx 30 people in tents that also rented a cabin on other side. Constant stream of folks going around us and bumping our trailer. Plus one of them thought it funny to turn out water off at random. Park has quiet hours, but, not enforced. Music blasting and drunk yelling till 2 am. Park had a nice pool and water area that we enjoyed. Also very nice landscaping on public area up front.

The sites way too close together and the premium site we selected had very little grass so we had to deal with mud when it rained. Also the roads were very narrow and all the trees were so overgrown that it was difficult to drive through the campground without hitting branches on the sides and top of our RV. With the campground having the sites so close together it was difficult to maneuver around all the parked cars. Lastly there were thousands of nats and flys that there were fly traps and fly strips hanging from the trees next to our site. Would recommend this campground if you prefer larger space between sites and less crowded with room to maneuver your RV. I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lots of fun, cabins were nice and cozy!

Staff was polite, plenty of activities.
