I have stayed here seven or eight times. I love the scenery. It’s peaceful and it’s close to family that we visit periodically.

Great view, quiet surroundings.

Upon arriving at the cabin, we noticed a strong, damp, and musty smell throughout. We encountered a cockroach in the bathroom. I understand that being in the woods means some bugs are to be expected, but cockroaches are unacceptable. The couches had numerous stains on them, the lampshades were covered in dust, and a stain was visible on the wall by the front door light switch. We appreciate a true, authentic cabin vibe, but this experience fell short of that standard. Lake Altoona is beautiful, and your cabins should reflect that view. With a bit of tender loving care and proper cleaning before your guests arrive, you could create a much more enjoyable environment.

We enjoyed our stay, the pull thru site we were on was upgraded to 50 amp and the water pressure was good as well. We had a great view of the lake and were able to take a swim from our site. The site did not have sewer but there is a dump station on site. We plan to return and spend more time and enjoy Holiday Harbor and the area some more.

Great little spot for a weekend. The roads are really rough. Dump station wasn't the easiest to get in to.

No water pressure at campsite, no wifi, and the bathhouse was terrible. Not 1 bench, no water pressure. Would not recommend.

There is an abundance of trees. The water is close for all the campers. The scenery is nice. It’s about three or 4 miles from restaurants and stores. The road going up to the dump station is pretty rough and could be grated. The positioning of the dump station is difficult to reach for some RVs.

All went as planned. Nice quiet campground on the lake & marina. Bath house needs some updating but everything worked as it should. The site roads are 2 way, just so you know, was never an issue with us. They have cabins too!

We weren’t sure if we were going to like this campground so we only booked three nights here, splitting our week. We booked site 35 (premium site) and fell in love! The view was just perfect and there was no one around us. We lived it so much we cancelled our other reservation and stayed at Holiday Harbor the entire week! We are looking forward to our next stay!

It was nice to see all the new power units! The roads and bath house could use some TLC.

It had all the accommodations needed. I did notice some of the pictures did not represent the accurate sites. Our grill was broke and had to buy one. We did have a good time and will consider returning as the kids enjoyed swimming and fishing.

Restrooms and showers were terrible. I had to evacuate due to severe weather coming and did not get a credit for the night I did not stay. I would not recommend to anyone.

Friendly staff. The view of the water was great.

Campground is right next to the lake which was very serene. Very tight for large motor homes as road is narrow with large trees creating tight camping spots. Camp sites were gravel. Office folks were very courteous and helpful allowing us to move to a spot that was easier to get into. 50 amp power was good.

Very difficult to navigate within the campground. Direction signs are too small. No trails. Bathrooms are outdated. Needs improvement. Will not be staying here again.

Roads are in bad shape and campground is hard to navigate. No sewer and the dump station is in an inconvenient place.
