No hot water in the showers

Love this place!

Because it is a nice place to take your kids. Been camping there for a long time.

We rented a boat for the day. The boat was rented to us past 6pm so we did not get to use it, we just kept it at our campsite until the next day. Around 8am the owner came and said the boat was not supposed to be rented out that late and to take the boat back, and we could "talk" about the boat being rented again if we came with money. My husband said we already paid for the boat, and we had just started to use it(about 2 hours in). The owner did not care and was very rude and hateful. She was supposed to come back to our campsite to talk to us about getting our money back, but she never showed. I do not recommend this campsite at all. Poor customer service and basically stole our money. We are waiting on a call from the owner because some employees took our number and said she would call, but still no sign. Maybe they should not rent boats that late in the afternoon if they aren't supposed to be rented (what the owner said.) Maybe train your employees to know what the protocols are.

The lake is pretty and clean and that was really nice. Unfortunately, upon arrival to our reserved campsite spot, another camper had already set up their tent and we were losing daylight. The kids working the check in didn't really give any directions or talk to us when we arrived to check in, so we just didn't bother going back to the office. We ended up camping beside our friend's spot. I would also say that the bath house is not the cleanest or updated. Our kids loved to fish and swim in the water and the playground was a bonus. Just a note for anyone booking the primitive sites, they are extremely sloped, not suitable for a tent.

Park was very clean, nice level spaces, beautiful scenery and lake. Nice playgrounds, and most of all quiet! We were early in the season so the store wasn't open, no check in to speak of, wasn't anybody around so just went to spot that was in the email. There was maybe 7 or 8 campers there.
