Hoover Met Complex RV Park — Reviews

Hoover Met did not return any of my phone calls regarding the problems we encountered. When we arrived, someone else was perked in our assigned spot for both days we had booked. They also advertise a military discount. There was no way to request or claim our military discount during the reservation process. My calls regarding an adjustment to our invoice were also not returned.

I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere

This is always a great place to stay. It is clean and safe. We like to stay here when we play golf at Ross Bridge. This was our third stay here. Thank you!

This park was easily accessible and the lot's were spacious. The trashcans at each space was a plus.

Easy in and out. All online registration. Perfect spot to stay for the big game.

When we arrived there was another camper in our spot. A spot that we had picked and reserved for specific reasons. When I called all they did was move us instead of asking the other camper why they were there and asking them to move. They were nice but I feel like we did what we were supposed to and were the ones that were inconvenienced. We have stayed here several times with no issues. Guess it was just a fluke this time.

There was no direction on what to do when we got there, no one answered the phone, because it stated site number was subject to change. when the person finally returned to her desk, was told we didn't need to check in, just go to spot. When we got to our spot the rv in the spot next to ours had taken both sewer hookups. Had to go back to the building & get a different spot, for which we had to knock on the rv door next to our spot to have him move his truck.

Sites are close unless you get an end site. Everything else was good

The spot I reserved was taken when I got there by another camper that the office staff was not aware of. They moved me to another spot that was occupied by a pick up truck that belonged to the campers next door Not the best experience for the first time but I will give the facility another opportunity soon

We stay there whoever we are in the Birmingham area. It’s not really a camping spot but great if you need to be in the area. The sites are plentiful, level and all the utilities work great!

Easy for an overnight stay and very reasonable. I would only like just a bit more room for the tow vehicle.

Very convenient. We stay here frequently. Very clean and well kept.

The only reason I gave a four was because I called the afternoon of my arrival with a question. I called the number on the confirmation email. Got a ladies voice to leave a message and she would get back that afternoon or the next morning. So far I have never back from her.

This stay was great, we received exactly what was advertised. We used it as a whistle stop on our journey. We needed a safe, easy access stop with full hookups. Good power, good water, easy sewer access. There was enough room on our asphalt lane to have our coach and our truck/ trailer. Easy off interstate access made this a perfect fit.

The location is convenient to many eating venues, things to do, etc. The drawbacks include lack of shaded spots and no showers, laundry, etc., which I would expect for $55+ a night.

I booked our reservations in Jan 2024 long before our event. When we checked in we had been moved. Unfortunately we had to move again due to the power kept tripping.
