Huck's RV Park — Reviews

Not including ours, there were 10 possible available transient sites, with all the rest seemingly being full-time residents. The only amenities seemed to be the bath house and laundry, but we didn't use them. The property is kept very clean, tidy and organized. It is very near 95, the entrance is a little rough, but all paved once inside the park. Our No. 2 pull-through could not be better. The sewer connection was an in-ground tube that did not have a female screw top, but we carry enough options where that was not a problem. The person we spoke to was very polite and helpful. We have stayed there on two separate occasions and could stay again.

This is primarily for permanent or semi permanent people. The road going in is horrible. Many potholes, narrow sites, no picnic tables. Concrete pad was nice. The restrooms were spotless and new. Be careful of the navigation system you use. Apple Maps took me down a road with no turnarounds, google maps was spot on.

Great stop over mostly long term campers but the area reserved for over night is upfront and easy to get to.less road than other parks in the area and gas is close

The park is close to I95, gas/diesel, food. Reasonable price. A little highway noise. Arrived on a Monday to find office closed. One phone call to get site assignment.

The park is easily accessible to I-95. The park is very comfortable for an overnight stay. It is next door (walking distance) to a new Circle K gas/diesel station with a very large lot for truck/diesel pumps. Across the street from Huck's is a Dollar General.

Easy off and on to I-95 but did not feel really safe there as seemed more of a long term spot. Glad for a place so close to pull off but rough and unfinished roads on entry, nice flat spacious full hook up site surrounded by full time residents. Leaving was sketchy and a little difficult to get out of. Ok for overnight but made sure all was locked up.

Clean ,nice, easy access

The location is very close to I-95 yet there was no noise from traffic. It was very quiet. The amenities were just what we needed. It is convenient to St Mary’s and Fernandina Beach. We want to come again to explore more.

Was a little muddy and tight between rv’s. But okay overall.

Hucks RV was easy to find. Set up easy. Water electric and dump station at site great. Hot shower was nice.

The site was sufficient for our length, the power was good, and the water pressure was great. Really appreciate the hospitality. It's a decent campground that suited our needs during our travel up from Fort Lauderdale. We really appreciated it. We were assiged Site 2 which was a straight shot in. We would rate it 3.5 stars because it's no frills. There are some long term campers there it seems and it was a bit densely set up (not a lot of room). Not much turning room when exiting your site and several campers encroached the road or get super close in key spots. We made it out with no problems but had to exercise caution. Again, it's no frills and suitable for the overnight.

It was so easy to drive in and hook up. Right off 95. We came in late at night on way to Florida . I also had to change the date of arrival and management was very helpful and courteous.
