The electrical didn’t work, the grassy green, beautiful area that was depicted in the photo, is all dead and gone. It is under new management, so hopefully things will improve for them. The lodge is nice.

This campground is just off the main road. We were there in winter, so the grounds and landscaping were very bare and muddy due to rain. There are several trailers on site that have not been cared for and reflected poorly on the campground. The garbage bins are out in the open also creating a poor visual of the campground. The sites are very close together. There is a grocery store within walking distance and a short drive into town. A lovely drive through coffee close by. We had hoped to do some hiking, but the weather was uncooperative so lowe hope to return to the area at another time. We also wanted to get maps from the visitors center, but it’s only open when volunteers are available, and apparently there were no volunteers available. We discovered a lovely sour dough bread shop. Her bread is delicious!! The owner recommended us coming back late Spring because that’s when the farmers market is held every Saturday. The area/town is lovely. Due to the photos shown in the listing for this campground, we had higher expectations. The campground met our needs for this trip because we were not outside wanting to enjoy a view or time in the campground.
