The campground and it's facilities are very well maintained. The store is much bigger than most and has a wide variety of items. It offers rustic to full hookup as well as cabins. They have mini golf, tubing, canoeing, and a basketball court on site. There's a playground and indoor pool.

The campsites were small. An extra $2 for the code for the pool, which was over run by kids without adults present.

Very clean, very quiet. Had a spot right on the river and it was lovely. Friendly staff, clean bathhouse. The showers could use updated shower sprayers, but that's a nitpick. :)

All the staff was very friendly and welcoming, check in was super easy. The park was clean. There was so so many activities for the kids to do. 10/10 reccomend this to anybody. We will be returning.

We had an amazing time, so much so that we put a deposit down for a seasonal spot next summer. The staff and owner were friendly and very helpful. Our neighboring campers were welcoming and a lot of fun. We spent 14 days on the Thornapple River and enjoyed the peace and quiet that only this type of place can provide. We even got to see an Elvis impersonator! We can't wait to go back.

I paid the extra to pick our spot. With younger kids I wanted to be close to a bathroom. After checking in and getting our spot set up. I head to the bathroom close by.... it was NOT a bathroom, but a glorified outhouse. The only real bathroom was at the end of the campground or at the office. Wish they would have had a better map stating they were out houses. Other than that.... We enjoyed our stay. I liked that the owners drove around multiple times a day and night. They were on top of enforcing quiet hours.

Quiet park, well maintained with helpful service and good management but our camp site needed some TLC because it was densely treed, with all shade and so it stayed wet and muddy. It was the only site that seemed to be low so it stayed muddy. We have been long time campers so we know some sites will have that issue. But, it was nice to have a cement pad. Some sites have docks on the river, but some are in need of repair. That section of the back of the park just needs a little attention. Overall, it was a great stay and nice to have a campsite directly on the river.

The owner and his daughter were wonderful. We were up in Michigan due to a death in the family and they let us check in early. We were so grateful for that. The campground is beautiful and being so close to the river was just what we needed. We will definitely be back again.
