The Inlet at Lanier Pointe — Reviews

This is a large campground but mostly permanent or seasonal campers. The access for Topsail and Surf City is outstanding. We had one of the newer sites ( which is the furthest point from the office) and had a great view of the sound and bridge. I would recommend those 3 or 4 lots although road noise can be loud at times.

The people have been great all the times we have stayed there. The only thing that was disappointing was that the new owner are looking for more site to be turned in to permanent site.

It is a nice clean campground. Better during the week than the weekend when it fills up with too many campers crammed into a tight space.

The location was fine. But, no one is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, during the time we were there. We had an issue where the sites weren’t marked and the key fob did not work for the women’s bathroom/shower and I did not have any help with these issues. I believe if they had a camp host that had been act, it would have made things a little easier. The phone number that was given , the person that answered was unable to support.

The campsite is under new management, and they are in the process of updating the short term RV spots with new concrete and asphalt. This is a great location to just get away and relax with a lot of amenities close by. The staff is very friendly and eager to assist if there are any issues with the campsite.

The campground is well maintained with great amenities. Most of the campground is occupied with long term rentals, but there are quite a few spots close to the water and pier for short term stays. The staff is very friendly. We had an issue with the 30A breaker when we hooked up power. I notified the office and they had a new breaker installed in about 15 minutes.
