Iron Horse Campground — Reviews

Not great, but not bad either. Quite good. Well worth the cost.

The campsites were well set up. We loved the fire pit. The washrooms were very clean. It was nice of the campground host to call me and ask if I wanted to change my campsite as I had chosen one that had no picnic table or firepit. I really appreciated it.

Stay 4 nights. One night the cops came knocking on our door looking for a suspect because the caretakers are no where to be found. The suspect “squats” at the campsite sometimes they said. We had 2 squatters while we stayed there. Caretakers leave and don’t stay at the campsite. Loud generators with tents. Loud trucks running by our camper. People on quads throughout the night. The traffic going by is non stop. I’ll never stay here again.

It was ok. Park managers were nice.
