Awesome campground for families! Pool was clean and zero entry to 3.5ft. Little lake with the water inflatables was so much fun for 5 and 6 year old and teens! We tented by the lake at a large, quiet site. Water yes, electric not at this time. The new manager was great and very interested in campers and needs. He is really making the place a destination for families. The group of young employees was very impressive. They are well trained and made our experience that much better. Very helpful. Nice little store, lots of event space and larger pavillions for gatherings. Close to Hocking Hills for hiking and beauty!!!! We will be back!

There was trash everywhere, the pond is full of snails, couldn't take the chance of swimming in the pond. And even if we would have it is only open till 7.

The Swimming Pool was drained and there was sewage leaking outside of the Bathhouse. Also the Office/Store closed too early. (Wanted to buy Ice at 6:30 on Monday)

I’ll start with we specifically booked this camp site for the pool, due to 11 out of the 16 people in our group don’t swim in lake/beach water and the pool was completely empty and has been out of order. We rented 4 sites that were supposed to have water and electric as stated on the website 2 out of the 4 had electric and 1 had water but, no electric. We go to the lake get out go sit on a lawn chair and seen these little worm like things on my feet. I google search using a pic of them and the were leaches… Now NOBODY wants to swim. The bathrooms were horrible, muddy toilet paper water all over the floor and no toilet paper what so ever!! Thank Jesus there were paper towels in the towel dispenser (a lil ruff but, did the job). I went to the office to talk to them regarding my sites not having electric or water as stated on the website when I rented them. The young adults were nice but, didn’t know what to do other than handing me an extension cord. I felt pretty bad because they were running around trying to figure out something about a busted water line and all the people with RV’s were complaining about no water pressure. I understand they are young and working but, they didn’t have answers to anything. It’d definitely help having an experienced person there on a busy weekend. We do a family camping trip every year and Jackson Lake will not get my business again. I guess I should’ve looked at the 3 stars before I booked.

Park is a bit rustic, with rock roads and pads. The lawns are beautiful. We stayed here in a 45’ motorhome and fit nicely into the spot. Navigating the roads was easy, park employees were very polite.

The shower house was absolutely disgusting. The floor has some sort of clear gelatin like substance all over. The drains were over flowing and there were two showers and only one usable because the 2nd was flooded with nasty water. It also smelled really bad like mold. The store was never open to get firewood. When we arrived there was nobody at the gate, no arrival instructions. We sat there for awhile, called a few times with no answer. Finally we called and left a message and just headed to our site. That's when a guy finally arrived on a golf cart to give us a packet that he said we should have picked up at the check in building in a cupboard. We had no way of knowing that. They say you can't bring your own wood , but the store doesn't open. The electric pole was so far from our campsite you need an additional power cord and an adapter to get power to your camper.

Poor service, says there's electrical outlets for tent camping (which you pay for) and my site didn't have one. Had to share with the neighbors and luckily they were kind enough to let me use one of there extention cords since mine wasn't long enough through 2 camp sites! Camp sites we're definitely not kept up with. I also get we're in the woods but the restrooms were completely destroyed.. website also said there's a pool. But apparently they've never opened the pool this year. Terrible experience.

The pool was closed. The lake was GREEN with floating algae everywhere. The life guards left for a “20-25 minute break” and never came back. Our site needed to be mowed. Our picnic table had holes in it. The “arcade” had 3 games. The claw machine was mostly empty. The cafe kept closing when it was supposed to be open. We had to reach down past our elbows to turn the water off in the rusty water valve at our sight. No toilet paper in the stinky bathrooms…etc etc

Campsite was spacious & we loved the lake. Most employees were pleasant. Bathrooms were disgusting, the fishing pond was not stocked but were asked not to fish in the lake where there were lots of fish, & lifeguards were hanging out/ eating, absent from their responsibly, for more than 4 hours during the 8 hours that the Waterpark was open while kids were acting unruly, bullying, etc.

Our prebooked site was occupied by another camper who arrived four days early. Management was not aware. We were offered another site but was too small for our trailer. We were lucky to find another camp ground. The grounds were unkept and the seasonal occupants were messy and look like the were there to stay. Would not recommend to a experienced camper. We needs refund since we did not stay.

Its a nice campground. I only wish they had concrete pads, gravel is hard to work with sometimes. We would come back.
