Jekyll Island Campground — Reviews

Love this place every time!

Camp ground was great, the restroom showers really need daily cleaning. Needs sprayed for bugs, roaches were in the women’s side. There were signs of black mold. A steam cleaning machine would reduce time to clean and remove a lot of this. Staff in office very friendly and staff on the grounds were as well. If not for the restrooms I would have given a excellent rating.

Being a single female taking grandchildren I always feel safe

The playground has no baby swing, and a lot of the interior sites are somewhat clustered, or surprisingly close. Meaning, the back of one camper may be only a few feet from another. We have two dogs so we couldn't give it a full five stars. Our campsite was clean, and every part of the logistics with the campground was spot on.

Clean, laundry room everything was up to date. Site was nice.

We envoy the campground and love the island. Driftwood beach at about 15 min walking is amazing!

Amazing campground.

Located away from the hotels and residents. Close to pier. Site was spacious. 1 bathhouse facility has been updated. The others could used some work. Otherwise, great place to stay to enjoy the island.

All was great, the only suggestion I would make would be to possibly have a water truck or 4 wheeler sprayer to wet the dirt roads to reduce the amount of dust.

Third year in a row for camping here. Perfect place for exploring this beautiful island!

Beautiful campground. Friendly staff.

The T8 site is great. Grounds were clean and staff very friendly.

Loved the campground and the island. Our site was large, the boys loved the play areas, and it was easy to get everywhere from the campground.

Loved the shade and wildlife. The bike trails were well planned out all around the Island.

Great location and daily rate and the trees create a beautiful ambiance at each site. Friendly front office staff.

Campsites too close together. Narrow roads for 2 way traffic. The plus is that it's a very quite campground.
