We absolutely love this campground. The only thing we really had some heartburn about the extremely inflated prices in the camp store and the bikes for rent were rusty and could definitely use some TLC. The WiFi signed was also a little weak.

Restrooms were out of order - cable connection was not working properly for us and the campsite next to us and 3rd thing we asked for was to clean up the piles of straw and mud-we asked 2 different campground “helpers”- we have been camping here since 2015 and this was not the way it should have been!!

We had a great time at this camp ground. Very well kept up park . Quite, clean we will definitely be back to this campground. Easy access to everything.

It was so relaxing and quiet. A little buggy but still very nice.

Nice location, walkable to Driftwood Beach and biking routes. But, the sites are small, bathhouse is very worn down (not dirty, but it feels that way when it’s not well maintained), and there so many posted rules it feels less peaceful than it should. Also, at the end of Feb, the biting bugs were nasty and we couldn’t sit outside at night. We were not aware that every time you access the island, there’s an entry fee, which is a bit irritating after spending money to have a campsite but then having to repay the entry fee when we went off island for the day.

Clean and easy to navigate campground. Lots of walking possibilities. Dappled sunshine through beautiful Spanish moss covered oak trees.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet, beautiful trails and beaches nearby.

Nice campground, great location, helpful staff. 50A service at my site was inoperative, forcing me to downgrade to 30A.

The campground is well run, very clean, and quiet. Personnel are so friendly and helpful. We loved the extras such as the bird sanctuary. We didn’t have a chance to check out any of the activities, but that looks like fun.

Welcome staff was great! Campground clean. The entire island is very bike friendly.
