Jekyll Island Campground — Reviews

Stayed 2 nights in late January. Staff was very accommodating, friendly, helpful. Site was level, reasonably roomy for our unit. Showers/bathhouse very clean. Great location..bike/walking trail runs right from the campground leading to beaches, hiking,, historic district. Bike rental on site. Quiet, safe, well maintained. Overall we felt this campground

We love camping here. The only negative comment is trying to get into some of their sites are challenging with the beautiful trees. Nobody helps you

All amenities were excellent. The atmosphere was great, and the events were a success for a relaxing time. Definitely a great place to visit and stay.

The staff was very accommodating when we arrived with our friends and asked to be parked near them, they were happy to do so. When we hooked up the water, the faucet was leaking. I walked to the office to report it and they were already there fixing it when I got back. It rained pretty much the entire time but we still enjoyed our time. Great location for bike riding. Next time.

We started the year at this campground and ended the year here. Love this little island. The staff is always very friendly and the newly remodeled bathrooms are nice. We also noticed on this trip that they are expanding and adding new campsites and 2 new bath houses. The Christmas lights this time of the year are beautiful. We will definitely be back and I'm pretty sure this will be our new December destination.

The staff was helpful with recommendations on where to visit around the island and the facilities were very clean! We really enjoyed our stay!

Rained almost continously during our stay. Other than that it was enjoyable . Already booked for future stays.

Didn't end up staying due to smelly neighbors that wouldn't stop smoking. My family is very sensitive to cigarettes so we couldn't stay.
