Just In Time Campground — Reviews

No management accountability. Called and left a message, never heard back. Asked for them to fix issues, never saw or heard from anyone. No water spigot, no clear lot lines, young kids driving golf carts, workers driving very fast down the driveway. Will not be back.

The site we reserved was 5 feet from the trailer beside us! The lake was beautiful, it would have been nice to have access to the lake from our site. It was overgrown and littered with trash. The whole campground could use some updating and redoing sites. Maintenance is a big need there. Trash was overflowing after the weekend and still hadn’t been emptied by Wednesday!

We always have a good time camping there.

We enjoy the small section of our area right on the lake. Some updates are needed for the use of the bathrooms & showers & daily care of cleaning those areas. If it doesn’t bother you, you’ll be satisfied with your stay as we were!

The porta john was unkept dirty, asked 3 times over a day to put paper in it. Over charged and was asked to take wood instead of money back! Was there 5 days and it stormed 4 days, very poor camping trip. Never go there again!

Pretty location. Beautiful lake. Lots of industrial windmills around the area. Friendly staff. Lots of permanent sites. Yummy taco truck. Smells like farm from surrounding areas (pigs maybe?) Website is hard to book and checkin and out times are hard to locate.

We loved the beach front location. The swimming area was very safe for the kids.

Decent park, friendly staff. Right along side of 'windmill park', interesting to observe. For us, good place to overnight.

The site we chose and paid for months before our trip was not available when we arrived, and we had been switched to a different site without notice. We had difficulty backing into our site because of vehicles being allowed to be parked across the road from our site, and we had difficulty finding a level enough area in the site. We arrived on a Friday, and the porta toilet closest to us was already nearly full, so by Monday when we left, the 'contents' were very close to the seat, and the TP had been gone for the last 2 days of our stay (we had to bring TP with us to the toilet). We had neighbors in tents who were allowed to play a radio loud past the 10pm quiet time. Around 2:30 we yelled for them to be quiet, but ignored us until 3:45 am when we had to scream at them to turn it down or off. One of us only got 3 hours sleep that night. We were there during a 'luau' weekend with a scheduled pot luck pig roast at 5pm and a beach party at 8pm. We arrived at the pot luck at 5:30, and there was no expected gathering. There were 3 picnic tables in the middle of a road in the blazing sun without umbrellas, so most people had already gotten food and retreated to their campsites. The food was great though. The 8pm beach party was basically a DJ who had the music cranked up so loud that we couldn't go near the beach. We stayed at our site, which was a long way away, hoping & praying the music would be stopped at 10pm (quiet time). But it didn't stop until 11:40pm. It was horrible! So, sadly I must leave a negative report, and we will not be visiting that campground again in the future.
