I called to get a refund before my scheduled time because I booked for the wrong day and nobody would pick up the phone so essentially I was robbed of 100 dollars

Very good location and people. However, very expensive tent space for no bathrooms unless you walk a very long way in the middle of the night. But overall a great place. We had fun.

They were extremely helpful when we arrived and the site we originally choice wasn’t what we were expecting. They change the site and we had an awesome weekend. 100% on the short list of places to camp on the peninsula.

Nice weather and camp hosts being attentive to sites and making sure guests checking out are out of the reserved sites.

Great but the bathrooms seemed to need more attention every time any of our family went to use them.

The day was good for the most part. I was a little disappointed to be parked directly in front of a shed with a light blaring right in the window 50 bucks a night seems a little steep for a shared fire pit a light blaring right in your window and barely enough room to put out one slide out when it tells you there's room for two

Here is the good bad ugly, or pros cons. I found this place a couple of years ago after trying to find a good campground for dip netting, and honestly my thought was this place is too good to be true. Good, actually the great, LOCATION, it is right at the mouth of the river and even has river access on property you can dip net from, if not its literally a few hundred yard to the main beach. They have a wide range of prices of types of camp spots, I stayed for as little as $28. Amenities, such as power, outhouses cleaning stations, coffee stand, food truck, ice and fire wood for sale. The staff are great, its owned by a father daughter; this year she let me stay till 2 pm on checkout day which made things so stress free. Since the first year they have expanded and are slowly making improvements. The bad, is as the other person stated, its loud and hectic, but and i want to stress this is the norm for 24/7 fishing during dip netting season put another way, people are not camping here for solitude they are here to do business. So its not a fault of management its the reality of why your here. The ugly is, well the campground, this is not some KOA, its a utilitarian camp spot for filing the freezer, its not a secret. There is a lot of old junk here from the previous owner but, they are constantly making improvements and honestly it fits my needs. In short i really like this place and hope they continue to do well as i will be coming back for years to come.

The space between RV vehicles are too close. Expecting some improvements in the near future, though.

The staff are friendly and show great customer service. It is just the RV spaces that are too narrow that the RVs park very close to each other. It would be nice to see some improvements in the near future. Other than that, close to the beach for dipnetting! 😊

We booked for 3 days and two nights. We left after the first night. Park was very loud ATVs running and reving all night and morning long. RV spaces are very close to each other, our slide was almost going into the next space while out door was almost touching the RV next to us. Host is nice and friendly, campsite close to dipnetting.
