Keen Lake Camping & Cottage Resort — Reviews

Sites are soooo small. No one is enforcing quiet hours, and some of the neighbors are loud until after 1am. The restrooms are clean and there is plenty to do. There were not able to even give directions to a nearby hiking trail. I guess they don't typically attract the kind of camper that likes to hike. Overall, we had fun, but don't think we'd return.

Every time we go to Keen Lake we have a great time!

This was my very first camping trip ever and it was a great experience. The site was spacious, the bathrooms were immaculately clean and the employees were welcoming! We were able to un-plug and relax. Very beautifully kept campground.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the lake. We enjoyed the activities that were plan for the kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to return next year!!

Just an overall good Campground

Pool was clean and properly chlorinated (no eye burn) with generous deck recliners and patio tables with umbrellas. Our tenting site was well-trimmed, grassy, shaded and relatively private. Kudos to the grounds maintenance team. The lakefront manicured lawn with patio tables, gazebo, lawn chairs, and fire pit is beautiful. Rental boats are in good condition. The new pickle ball court is perfect, well done. 5-minute showers for 25 cents is a great system with good hot water, adequate privacy, and quite clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Noise from the nearby 55mph Rt 6 can be an issue; earplugs might help.

It was overall very nice campground. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is there were some pretty ignorant people camping there. For example: we attempted to launch a boat at the boat ramp and someone wouldn’t move their kayak and just continued to stand and fish even after nicely asking. There were some other incidents too.

We enjoyed the new pickle ball court.
