Small sites, little privacy

Pros: Friendly, courteous staff. Older but well kept grounds. Old Florida atmosphere with lots of overhanging trees and mature landscaping. Cons: No activities for campers, clubhouse for site owners only, 5 of 6 washers were broken before someone came to fix them. When I asked about a monthly rate was told "we don't do that, just have to multiply the weekly rate by 4." That reply changed my mind about booking for next year.

Would have been higher if there was not a construction performed right beside our site for 2 days

Large spot, included a chickee hut, dock and picnic table.

The camp was awesome. Clean bathroom, laundry, pool until 10pm.

The water front site was nice and clean but the campground is bit run down and dark at night. Also, no Wi-Fi except for few hot stop locations. That is a major dissatisfaction for our family. We stayed the Christmas week and there were hardly any decorations around - seemed odd during holiday season.

Cute park and great location! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Key Largo Kampground for 5 nights. We splurged for a waterfront spot with full hookups (cable boxes available for checkout, we chose not to, so no comment on those). Staff was friendly & helpful. The calm canal waters were perfect for launching our kayaks (we opted to launch from the beach). The community is bicycle friendly. We pedaled & paddled to nearby John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. It’s central to much of Key Largo, though most folks will want a car to fully explore The Keys. At night, beside the site’s included tiki, we lit our fire ring & watched beautiful moonrises with the stars reflected off the water. The community is very tidy, gated (come & go via key card) & staff’s readily available, (they’re also doing daily ‘curbside’ trash pickup). We enjoyed the 2 petite, private, sandy beaches, the spotless bathroom & shower house, the swimming pool with separate kiddie pool (we didn’t bring kids, though)

Overall great stay, staff friendly, other campers friendly, residence no issues

All bathrooms were nice and clean facilities was clean. People were very friendly and enjoyed my short time there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice heated pool. Friendly atmosphere overall.

Place was beautiful. The staff is not the most helpful went to the office to ask some questions the first morning I was there. As I was asking my questions there another person came in and all 3 people I was speaking to director their entire attention the the person coming in. I was not even done speaking. I had to wait until all 3 of the staff redirected their attention. Poor customer service. I have never experienced this camping.

This campground is truly prepared for children. The gated entrance makes it easy for parents to rest their minds. Love the people and the environment. Been coming here for 25 years and counting.

As always, this campground is spotless clean, peaceful and relaxing. Excellent.

The actual spot was really nice. Two issues however: 1. No wifi at the campsites (not a big deal, but it is if you’re traveling with teenagers…) 2. Very poor toilet/shower facilities
