Lake Ericson Campground — Reviews

The Dam/spillway is primitive camping. The web site does not clarify the amenities. Outhouse only! No flush toilets. Spots 9 and 10 are very small, no picnic tables, and not mowed well (covered in sand burs). Spots 1-8 are okay. There is nearly constant UTV traffic going to the trail right behind the campground. The boat ramp was not usable for launching a pontoon.

We come here every summer and it is always a good time. Nice and quiet especially at the dam camp sites.

The camp host graciously moved us from our original spot because the electrical box started smoking. We loved a lakeside view. The only issue we had was with the minimally serviced out houses. The lights did not work and it was not very clean. But we loved how quiet and peaceful it was!

Nice campsites. Water available for camper fill close by. Right on the Ericson Lake. Quiet and relaxing.

We always have a good time up there

Campsite was very clean and mowed beautifully! Our site had an amazing view of the river, and it was fun to watch the people wrap up their river trip! Activities at the lake were easy going and lots of fun! Very easy to book and pay. And the new bathroom was a nice touch! Overall a fantastic relaxing weekend at a beautiful campsite! Well done Ericson Lake!!

Very easy to book and well kept areas.

We were the only ones camping in our area. Nice and quiet and peaceful. It would have been nice to use the fire pits but a burn ban was on and that's okay. We understand that.

There's no shower house or dump station. We didn't have any cell phone service so couldn't make any plans. Our neighbors went by all day & night w Razor, 4 wheeler & golf carts. The Razor was very loud especially when you're trying to sleep! Campsite was clean!

Great little spot with a nice windbreak of trees. Would've given 5 stars if the porta potti would have been in better shape and if water hydrants would have been more available (we chose to use a different potti in another area and just used our fresh water tank very conservatively. Would stay here again, but in a different spot. We were in "i".
