Always a great and relaxing stay at the cabins at Lake Hemet ❤️🏕️🐟🐡🛥️

Other than the terrible bunk bed mattresses (Cabins 1 & 2) and the female working the register at the market (terrible attitude), our family enjoyed Lake Hemet, getting out of Coachella Valley for a few days. We’re already talking about returning sometime in May. Oh! Kudos to the gentleman working the entrance gate this past Friday evening (12/13/2024). He was very pleasant and helpful.

Our Campground experience was excellent. We loved our "cabin" at Eagles crest which was right next to the marina. We came out to Hemet to do some fishing. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. We had great fishing too.

Our campsite 410 was amazing but the noise levels after 10pm were off the charts - we had people running around laughing and partying up to 430am. We also had a very large dog from a neighbors campsite foraging for food at our campsite at 330am.

The facilities are poor. There is always a puddle of water on the toilet floor. The toilet cubicles are so small that it is difficult to close and open the door. There is a shower, but there is no place to put clothes in the shower room. It was very noisy at night, some people were talking and laughing loudly all night long, and some people were running generators all night long. It's like an unmanaged campground but charges such a high fee.

Spots were perfectly spaced out, location was extremely clean, community was helpful, & area was overall very inviting! It was my first time going out with our trailer & this was the best place for an introduction. I can’t wait to go back with my family. I loved the distance of our campsite to the water & the kids really enjoyed fishing & hanging around the lake.

Beautiful place and people

The campsite was a little uneven, but the view was amazing! The staff were so friendly and accommodating! We learned that this is a perfect spot during the week days, but the weekends fill up with some less courteous campers. If you want to enjoy the view without cars lining the waters edge, go on the week days and watching the bald eagles fly! Fishing was great too!

We went a few days before Thanksgiving. Not many other campers there it was a nice get away! Best camp bathrooms and showers I've experienced. There was a noise issue after hours with inconsiderate campers and the staff took care of it in a timely matter and even followed up the next morning to make sure we were enjoying the stay! Highly recommend!

As first-time campers, we did not have any expectations since we had nothing to compare pervious experiences from. The booking process at Lake Hemet was simple and response to any concerns we had prior to our arrival have been promptly resolved. However, such was not the case once we were on site. A few sites adjacent to ours, campground rules were not enforced. Quiet time from 10 PM-8 AM, a maximum of 8 guests per tent site and dogs must be leashed at all times were not observed after I had mentioned it to one of the site staff. The response regarding the dogs was that "those are wild German Shepherds that got on the site that's why they are not on a leash." To be spoken to as if I were naive and having children and a small dog with us, clearly showed no concern for safety. Overall, my first-time camping with my family was awesome, but we plan to staying elsewhere in future.

Very clean quiet and relaxing place

This was our first time out as RV’ers so I don’t have anything to compare our stay to, but it was as we expected. The folks running the park were friendly and helpful. The facilities were not new, but were clean and worked for us. The lake was nice and no bugs.

Lake hemet is a great place for families to get together the view is incredible to wake up too it is well kept and my favorite thing about lake hemet is rv campers and tent campers can be together! Great job lake hemet

Great campsite, clean, well thought out campground! Staff were kind and helpful. The only complaint I had is that water levels were extremely low. Otherwise, the amenities and layout were fantastic!

This is our third year and fourth time camping at lake Hemet. Every year we have more of our family members join us. Hopefully next year we will have more family members join us. We look forward to our annual stay there.
