Firewood would not light even after almost 2 bottles of lighter fluid

Great place to stay, very clean and near lake activities. Cool 3 mile hiking trail is accessible. Cindy was a great camp host.

camp host not people friendly

Wss peaceful and relaxing. Well maintained camp ground and a clean shower house. Was during the week so most sites were empty and permanent campers were elsewhere. Awesome beach, great hiking trails good fishing.

Very clean, access to shower house. Friendly camper neighbors. RV spots limited, understand it is summer. Our location had been graded for leveling I assume w/o replacing rock. With rain, very muddy. Yes we chose this spot for purpose of shade. Will camp here again

Cindy was an awesome host!

We had the group site. Which is HUGE. If you are booking a regular campsite just know you can literally fit one tent and that’s it. You can’t park your can near your campsite it needs to be in the parking lot. Bathrooms were clean. Showers were ehh. Campsite host was awesome! She made it clear she was available 24/7. Came to check up on us and offered to bring us firewood for $5. She did say to be careful for ticks since there is a lot. So keep that in mind when packing. The campsite is a completely wooded area with tall trees and tall grass behind your site. The beach was about a 2 min drive and the town was about 5-8 mins away. Campgrounds are clean and easy to navigate. 4.8 stars bc of the showers. But everything else was great!

They have changed things up out here and I cant say I like the changes. They literally made the camp spots so tiny where everyone feels like they are on top of each other. They apparently do not allow hammocks even though the "terms and conditions " you have to sign say nothing about not being able to use hammocks. It felt like because we were such a large group they only wanted to enforce their rules on us and no one else. It was super frustrating.

The people were wonderful!!
