The campground is mostly by seasonal renters. They weren’t rude but not outgoing or friendly.

  • Rated4.0out of 5Great!

The campground is extremely clean, and our interaction with Elizabeth in the store was great. The only reason I did not give a 5 star review is that the shower head in cabin 6 was at my shoulders, the tree needs to be trimmed above the cabin as walnuts were pelting the tin roof of the cabin and my rental car and only one outside light worked.

  • Rated4.0out of 5Great!

Was quiet, several golf carts, main over weekend, all personnel were very friendly, just far enough out of town, yet convenient. Would of given a five star, showers were very clean, however, the heads are probably 8 feet off floor and fairly plugged up, guy weed eating grass was careless and blew clippings under camper and into my Jeep with windows partially down. I would camp there again, just bring up concerns.

  • Rated5.0out of 5Fantastic!

Facilities were very well kept. Showers were good with plenty of hot water. Laundry room was clean and had all necessary items readily available for only $2 per load! Loved the fire pit and most other campers were using them as well. We had a great time and only regret missing bingo and the food truck!

While we were camping here, we had a family medical emergency that caused us to need an additional night. We contacted Jenny and she made sure we were given an available site since It was during july 4th weekend and an unfortunate circumstance. She didn't upcharge us even though the rate could have been more due to it being a holiday weekend. She was extremely professional and appreciated.

Choosing where to stay on vacation when you’re not from the area can sometimes be nerve-wracking. Lake Monroe Village is the best choice I could’ve possibly made! The scenery is beautiful and there are so many options for things to do around the campground. We didn’t get in until after the office closed and the office staff left a voicemail with detailed instructions for a late check-in and made the process very easy, which I am very thankful for. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to stay, this is the one!

This camp ground is mostly permanent sites, for what we were there for it worked well for us. Not on the lake but close if you want to be. Lots of hiking near by
