Lakeside Fire Campground — Reviews

Overall great site. Very spacious, lots of activities for kids. Even had its own bar and grill in the campgrounds. Only downside is people would try and cut through your campsite even when our dog was out. Which is no fault of the owners.

Exceptional and very accommodating. The only thing I would change is that they would be open 365 days a year.

Swimming was great. They have alot of inflatables, which was fun. There was no inflatables for younger children., which was a bummer. The mini golf needs repair. The jump pad was really fun, the area is well maintained. The chickens and tortoises were nice to see. The cabins were much smaller than expected, they cost about the same as other places just half the size. No tv as shown in photos, which was fine until it rains and you have nothing to do. The shop did have board games to play.

Very friendly and helpful staff. As soon I arrived they had someone there to direct Traffic. After check in they had someone guide us to our spot. The swiming pond was great for the kids. My son had a medical emergency. Lots of help from fellow campers and staff.

We paid for full hook up but were unable to use sewer because the piping we had wasn’t long enough and we were unable to back the camper in any further to accommodate the problem. While this was very disappointing I’m sure it’s our own fault for not knowing what length of pipe we would need even though we have never had this problem before.

Big campsites, good WiFi, a lot of activities

There was a lot of activities for kids and lots of room. The only thing that would make it even better would be a laundry room and if they’d open the slushee shack during the day not just night.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were nice and well maintained. Nice quiet place to camp. The facilities were great. My family really enjoyed being here. We'll be back.
