Larsson's Crooked Creek Resort — Reviews

We will be staying here again. Our site was adorable seated next to the creek running through the campground. Everything was kept very nice, and immaculately clean. I even appreciated the no matts on the grass rule to keep everything looking nice. They were more than happy to drop off wood to our campsite for us, and since our site didn't have sewer hookups the "Honey Wagon" came around while we were out to empty the black tank for us. The staff at checkin was also super friendly. I forgot to bring my water hookups, but they had them at the camp store and charged about what I would have expected. Finally, I appreciated the little printout with the campground rules we got at check in. Nothing unreasonable, but confirming "Quiet Hours" and the other campers were happy to oblige, I was sitting around my campfire at 10:00 and not a peep to be heard. It was about a 13 hour drive for us to get there, but I'm sure we will be camping at the black hills again, and will be back to stay at this campground.

Our only suggestion would be to put some hooks in the cabins and a bedside table of sorts. Staff was very friendly, it was clean and quiet. We Would come back!

Beautiful campsite. Very well maintained. Trash pickup every morning. They drive around to your site to pump out your RV. Site charge for anything you buy from their store makes it very simple. You can call and they will deliver firewood and ice from the store.

Amazing spot to relax after exploring the nearby attractions. Loved the outdoor kitchen and staff was friendly and helpful.

This was one of the most amazing campgrounds we had stayed at. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. The amenities clean and enjoyable. I will definitely return and recommend to my friends and family

Great location as far as a home base to go see the sights. Very clean, well maintained and helpful staff. We would recommend and go there again.

Very friendly, nice clean facilities, good location to attractions, only negative is our site was open and too close to the road.

The service and attitude from the entire staff was excellent. The sites are level and nicely shaded, plus there is direct access to the Mickelson Trail.

Great place nice and clean

Such a beautiful campground! Perfectly placed with easy access to Hill City, Mt. Rushmore, and the George S. Mickelson Trail. We cannot wait to come back next season, but for a much longer stay. Thank you so much for the incredible service and hospitality!

Pretty and well maintained. Just very pricy for what it is and does.

This place is THE BEST camp site my wife and I have been to. It’s pretty much centrally located to all the tourist sites and Hill City is a great place to visit, too. The restrooms and showers are very nice and clean. The sites are well kept. The employees are professional and friendly. We stayed there 5 nights and made friendships with some of the staff. It was a great vacation stay and we will be back the next time we plan a vacation in S.D.

This camp/resort was phenomenal! Great location , service was impeccable. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly and informative. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning and recommending it to all our family and friends.
