Great hosts, everything you could think of needing is available, pristinely clean, groomed dog walk, heated pool, fire rings and picnic tables as well as large sites! We will absolutely be back!

Best campground we have ever stayed at. Hosts are helpful and friendly. It is absolutely gorgeous. We had a spot by the creek and loved it. They are dog and kid friendly while giving those who want a relaxing time space to enjoy. I highly recommend!

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Clean modern facilities. Central to the places we wanted to visit. A little bit of road noise but we slept well! We had no kids but the ones that were there sure seemed to enjoy their time there.

Everything was top notch! The grounds are impeccably kept. There is plenty of grass. The roads have fine gravel on them so things don’t get muddy. The bathroom/shower house is something you would expect in a nice hotel. It’s new and sparkling clean. There is a beautiful stream running through the camp that makes such a relaxing sound. Our site was nicely shaded. The location is perfect for making day trips to all the spots of interest in the Black Hills. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I cannot recommend this campground enough.

Overall everything was pretty good, we stayed in the cabins and had a pretty good experience. It seems that the campground is in the middle of an upgrade, for most of the stay there seemed to be no one in the office but we had a direct line to staff if we ever needed anything. I would definitely come back, and probably to to come back in the proper season (beginning of may is too early). Staff was very friendly and the campgrounds were super clean.

Larsson's Crooked Creek Resort has set our new standard for a great place to stay in our little camper. From the smooth arrival with clear and friendly directions to our site, to pleasant interactions with everyone we spoke with, to the charming location and the lovely sites themselves, this is definitely a place we'll want to stay again.

We stayed by the little brook that runs through the campground. It was so nice to here the the running water by the fire. The campground is very clean and quiet. We will definitely stay here again.
